The Slow Cyclist
The Slow Cyclist exists to create memories for you, our guests, and for all those whose lives we touch along the way. We do this by creating the best experiences we can in a way that makes everyone feel our impact is beneficial.
We have been crafting and delivering slow journeys since 2015, and will be doing so for as long as we keep putting smiles on faces.
Having spent 14 months cycling from the UK to Australia, our Founder Oli Broom is a bonafide – some might say the original – slow cyclist.
Our story began way back in 2009, six years before our inception and the first Slow Cyclist journey through the Saxon villages of Transylvania.
Based out of our Oxfordhire HQ, we are a team of joy-givers helping you, our guests, get the most out of your time with us.
Another fantastic Slow Cyclist adventure, due in no small part to our outstanding host Kate. We can’t wait for the next one.
Simply one of the best weeks ever. I've been recommending Zagori to everyone. I'm certainly going to re-book. Fantastic. Thank you.
We had an absolutely wonderful time. What a stunning area. I felt bereft when we came to the end of our trip.
What a great experience in Rwanda. An amazing country, clean, organised, joyful, lawful and beautiful. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we loved meeting all the others from around the world – a great eclectic mix!
We take our guests to parts of the world that we’re passionate about, where we have the knowledge and the finest contacts to create experiences that live long in the memory.
